My writings on some good horrors

 

Hi all,

So you all know by now my favourite movie genre is horror. The creepier the better. I thought I would share my thoughts on some of the horrors I’ve seen. 1) I’ve only chose ones I watched alone. 2) I haven’t chose the extreme ones but if you think you can handle them let me know and I’ll make another list haha.I do recommend watching all these but I will say whether they were brilliant or not.

Devil

5 people get stuck in an elevator and one of them is the devil. One by one they get picked off. I liked the concept of this story and the build up but the ending was a bit ‘meh’.

The Babadook

What could be scarier than your child shouting ‘do you wanna die’ at you? There are underlying meanings but I just watched it for the scare. And I was terrified. The scuttling alone, I’ll leave it at that.

The Human Centipede 2

So the first one brought the concept but I didn’t find it too disturbing. The third one is just outlandish. This one is creepy as hell. The sandpaper. Enough said.

The Pact

A woman goes back to the home she grew up in, old story. But this takes on a different take. And the ending scared the shit out of me.

Would you rather?

Different people desperate for money attend a (rich)  mad man’s dinner party. And he wants to play would you rather. This is brilliant from the beginning to the end. In fact I think I’ll rewatch this tonight 🙂
